Tube bundle heat exchangers

 

RW Tube Bundle Heat Exchangers consist of a bundle of  efficient dimpled tubes of copper or cupro-nickel brazed into a copper or cupro-nickel shell.

 

The special dimpled tubes made by Schmoele have many small, flat indentations which are impressed from the outside into the tube wall. The outside and inside surface structure of these tubes results in a considerably improved heat transfer compared with plain tubes. By means of shell side baffles a transverse circulation around the tubes is achieved.

 

RW Tube Bundle Heat Exchangers are used for

  • Heating of domestic water

  • Cooling and heating of circuit water

  • Heating of swimming pool water

  • System separation in floor heating installations where oxygen diffusion through plastic tubes could otherwise result in corrosion

  • District heating or solar installations
